Pond Meadow School
St Faith’s Trust is pleased to have contributed to the new Food Technology Room at Pond Meadow School. Pond Meadow Academy Trust is an outstanding special school in Guildford which provides education for Surrey children from 3-19 with ASD (Autism, Communication and Interactive Needs) and/or severe learning difficulties. The wonderful new room will be used to support students to develop the important life skill of cooking, their knowledge of food, nutrition and health, food safety and making healthy choices. The photos below were taken at the official opening attended by trustees from St Faiths and other organisations who have supported the project. The school is planning to open a cafe on the site for the benefit of parents and local people.
